Terms & Conditions for Gilead’s Haven

Welcome to Gilead’s Haven. By confirming a booking and staying with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings will be approved and confirmed by our staff through email or WhatsApp
  • Once approved, guest will be required to pay full amount plus RM500 security deposit
  • Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer, Credit Card and Online Payment Gateway
  • Your booking is only confirmed after payment is received and acknowledged

2. Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in Time: 3:00 PM onwards
  • Check-out Time: 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in/late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • 24 days before check-in: Full refund (less processing fees RM150 or USD40).
  • 12 days before check-in: 50% will be refunded (less processing fees RM150 or USD40).
  • 12 days or less before check-in: One/first night rate is non-refundable, balance nights will be refunded (less processing fees RM150 or USD40).
  • No-show bookings are charged 100% of the total stay amount.
  • Refund or re-schedule stay will be considered under circumstances such as unforeseeable natural disaster such as flood, landslide, and earthquake.

4. House Rules

  • Gilead’s Haven is an exclusive retreat private residence
  • No smoking inside the property.
  • No pets allowed (Rare exception may be granted with condition)
  • A separate sheet of House Rules will be respected upon check in.
  • Only public open spaces have CCTV purely for security reason. Security reason comprises of vandalism, fire hazard, theft, criminal activities, and etc.

5. Property Use

  • The property and its facilities are for registered guests only.
  • Walk-in friends or visitors are welcome but not allowed to stay overnight
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to our property caused during their stay. A security deposit is required.

6. Liability

  • Gilead’s Haven shall not be held liable for: Loss of personal belongings, road accidents, injuries, or illness during the stay
  • Guests are advised to purchase travel insurance for added protection.

7. Force Majeure

  • Gilead’s Haven will not be liable for failure to provide accommodation due to natural disasters, government regulations, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

8. Privacy Policy

  • Personal data collected for booking will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and used only for reservation purposes.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
